Rejoice! God Has Not Changed.

Dear MBC Church Family,

I pray that Easter will find you and your family safe. Many of our loved ones may find it difficult to rejoice over the significance of this weekend as we try to celebrate the resurrection of the one who, out of love, died to take away our sins that we may have eternal life. This time may be especially hard since more and more of us can say now that we know someone who’s been affected by this pandemic that’s keeping us apart from each other. But it’s true. We can rejoice, knowing that God has not changed. He still loves us and will continue to watch over us and protect us.

Last Sunday was a precious time for the church to come together in worship. Though we were physically separated, it felt like all of us were together in the same building. Please, let’s show our appreciation to Angela, Von, Charnetta, and Tony for risking their own sense of security to help keep us together in worship. May God cover them by His Spirit as they serve our Lord.

While this pandemic is taking its toll on people we know, we will continue with the daily prayer times and worship services. Feel free to pass these details on to others who may want to join us by Skype: https://join.skype.com/P8TRBZjej8aU; or by conference call: Dial-in: (978) 990-5159, Access Code: 294069.

  • Sunday morning Worship Service (11:30am - Touchless Worship, social distancing)

  • Monday through Saturday Noontime Prayer (12:00pm-1:00pm)

  • Thursday evening Bible Study (7:00pm – 8:00pm)

Please mention to them, too, that the grounds of the church are open every day for visitors to come, meditate and pray at the Stations of the Cross to help them keep their focus during this season on the supreme sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. The outdoor display is a safe environment to stay in touch with God. Also, if anyone you know feels overwhelmed, someone will always be at the church at noon every day of the week to pray with them, either in-person or remotely and offer them words of encouragement.

God bless and keep you and your family. Happy Easter.
